Light, Form, and Innovation
Founded in the 1950s by Elio Martinelli, Martinelli Luce was born from a passion for light, form, and function. From his small laboratory in Lucca, Elio developed lamps with geometric shapes, natural inspirations, and innovative functionality, using materials such as methacrylate and exploring new manufacturing techniques.
Recognized for its timeless aesthetics and high functional performance, the brand gained prominence in Italian design, including an invitation from Giò Ponti to Eurodomus in 1966. Today, under the leadership of Emiliana Martinelli and her son Marco, Martinelli Luce continues to combine simplicity, rigor, and creativity, collaborating with established and emerging designers to illuminate the world with innovation and style.
